HBO Max has shared the first look at their highly anticipated reboot of the popular teen drama, Gossip Girl. Developed by Joshua Safran, the series will star Jordan Alexander, Eli Brown, Thomas Doherty and Tavi Gevinson. Kristen Bell of the original series will also return for the reboot. Much like the original series, the cast and crew will tell the stories of New York elites coming of age in a new era.
“Secrets, secrets are no fun…unless they come from Gossip Girl. She’s back and badder than ever. See you on the steps,” HBO Max writes.
HBO Max is all in on the reunion and reboot market. Recently, the streaming platform has hosted reunions for classic series like The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Friends. On the reboot front, HBO Max is working on new seasons of Pretty Little Liars and the Boondocks.
