Actress Gal Gadot has reportedly signed an eight-figure deal to star in Heart of Stone from Skydance Media. Reports suggest that the film is being positioned as an international spy thriller similar to the Mission: Impossible and 007 franchises.
Tom Harper of The Aeronauts and War Book fame is reportedly in talks to direct the film. Alongside Harper, Greg Rucka of The Old Guard and Allison Schroeder of Hidden Figures are set as the film’s writers. Don Granger, Gal Gadot, Jaron Varsano, Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn are set to produce the film.
With the pandemic shutting down movie theaters worldwide, the studio is not committing to a theatrical release yet. Recently, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Women 1984 was moved away from theaters to streaming services. As a result, the film will be released on HBO Max on Christmas. She is also set to star in the upcoming film, Death on the Nile. As for Heart of Stone, stay tuned for more developments and a possible release date.
