It’s finally here. The NBA has announced the official 2015-16 NBA schedule and we are one step closer to the start of the next season of basketball. The summer is just about over, teams have made all the important moves for next season and everyone is clamoring for things to talk about leading up to tip-off of game number one.
Like the Knicks, the Re-Branded Clippers had an “interesting” offseason. The team’s new uniforms look like the generic uniforms from NBA Live 03 “create a team” feature, the team copied and pasted the EA Sports’ logo on their new apparel, oh yeah, and the team held DeAndre Jordan hostage. Hey, they do have Steve Ballmer though, and you can’t hate that guy.
The Clippers are at their highest point they’ve been in franchise history, they’re good and the Lakers aren’t. While the Clippers have been one of the better teams in the Western Conference the past couple years, they have yet to get over the hump and reach a Western Conference Finals.
Los Angeles will be tested early, as they face the defending champion Warriors on November 4th in Oakland. The entire month of November will be a giant test for Doc Rivers’ team, as they will play nine of 14 games against teams who made the playoffs last season.
The matchup that all NBA fans will have their eyes on is November 11th, when the Clippers travel to Dallas to face the DeAndre Jordan-less Mavericks. Let’s just take a moment to thank the Based God for blessing us by having that game on ESPN.
