‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ will have a familiar face in the directors chair.
Variety is reporting that David Yates will direct Warner Bros. upcoming film adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s best selling novel. He has previously directed four other Harry Potter films including ‘The Half-Blood Prince’, ‘The Order of the Phoenix’ and both installments of ‘The Deathly Hallows’.
The movie will be the first installment in a three part franchise that explores the mythical animals and plants of the Wizarding World. It will take place 70 years before Harry attends Hogwarts.
‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ is scheduled to hit theater on November 18, 2016.
