The Ezekiel Elliot war on the NFL continues as the star running back got some good news on Tuesday night. After the courts ruled in favor of the NFL and reinstated his suspension, Elliot took the fight to New York and was granted his restraining order. The restraining order will last for 14 days which the courts will then have a verdict afterward.

This is the second time this year that Elliot was granted a temporary restraining order against the NFL. Elliot was on pace to miss weeks 7-12 with the suspension this time around but now will be good to go to face the San Francisco 49ers this week. The Dallas Cowboys have to be thrilled.
Darren McFadden and Alfred Morris would have been the primary rushing attack if Elliot were to miss any time. At this point, it’s looking like this will have an eerily similar feeling to the Tom Brady situation from a year ago.
