Struggles of the New York Knicks

14 game losing streak ,which is a franchise record, check. A NBA worst 5-34 record, check. Over 60 million dollars in players salary have missed over 50 games combined, check. Trading away 2 important rotation players and waiving another, check. Oh and to put the cherry on top, they were just blown out at home, on national television on TNT by the Houston Rockets.
Now, ESPN is just punching Knicks fans in the stomach by announcing they have pulled 3 Knicks games from their broadcasting schedule. Here’s the full list of 7 games being switched around.

Rightfully so. You can’t blame the worldwide leader in sports for pulling the games in favor of other possibly entertaining games. I don’t agree with the Hawks getting a game pulled though and only being replaced by one more game. Not fair to the best team in the Eastern Conference.
Either way, the Knicks are done. That’s it. Time to chalk this season up as one big loss. Going into the season, many may have thought this team could have been a surprise 7 or 8 seed in the East but being the worst team in the NBA? Not many experts would have said that.
Carmelo Anthony needs to shut it down because the future, is not now. He’s very prideful though and will be paying in the Knicks game against the Milwaukee Bucks next week in London and is presumably not shutting it down so he can play in the All-Star Game, which is in New York this year.
The Knicks need to continue to showcase some of their younger talent, because when these guys get a chance, they show out. Point in case being last night with 2 big time plays in the loss.
