Ahmad Rashad played a major part in many basketball fans’ childhoods. As the host of Inside Stuff on NBC, Rashad touched base with Michael Jordan, Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant and several other iconic basketball superstars. Now, it appears that he’s returning to television for a second run in the limelight. Joining Disney, Ahmad Rashad will host his own show called Ahmad Inside on ESPN+. The show will feature one-on-one interviews with basketball figures like Charles Barkley, Clyde Drexler, Patrick Ewing, Gary Payton and Pat Riley.
“These are some of basketball’s greatest figures of all time, who starred in the most competitive era of the sport, with some of the fiercest rivalries. They, of course, have some extraordinary stories. I think fans of the sport and that era will delight in hearing those stories told first hand and seeing another side of these familiar faces,” Rashad said about the new series.
The first five episodes are currently available via ESPN+. Non-ESPN+ subscribers can check out episodes of the show periodically on ESPN 2.
