Ella Mai has announced that her next single, “Not Another Love Song,” will be released on October 2, 2020. The Grammy-winner says her new single is about “falling in love but not wanting to admit it, so it’s quite vulnerable but still has an edge to it.”
The Boi-1da produced track will debut as part of Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Vol. 2 show next week. The event will also feature Big Sean, Roddy Ricch, Lizzo, Travis Scott, Mustard and others. It is set to stream on Amazon Prime on October 2, 2020.
The 2020 single is her first since “Shot Clock” in 2019 from her debut self-titled album. Her self-titled album showcased her limitless potential with songs like “Shot Clock” and “Trip.” She ultimately won a Grammy for her lead single, “Boo’d Up.”
Two years after the release of her debut album, Ella Mai is looking to do it all again with the release of “Not Another Love Song” produced by Boi-1da.
