During the holiday weekend, El-P shared welcomed updates about the upcoming Run The Jewels album.
At one point, one fan asked him, “How far along is Run The Jewels 4?”
El-P answered, “[It’s] very far along, but [it’s] not mixed or done yet.”
He later added, “The good news is [that] it’s hard as f*ck.”
Later on, El-P tweeted, “I can also say [that] at this point Run The Jewels 4 is about 11 jams, It’s under forty minutes and not a second is wasted. Hopefully, that helps tide the curious over for a minutes while we finish up. Big thanks to everyone [that is] waiting.”
The last Run The Jewels album was released in December 2016. It features fourteen tracks and appearances from Trina, Boots, Danny Brown, Kamasi Washington and many more. Since then, Killer Mike has worked with acts such as Freddie Gibbs and launched his own Netflix show. Meanwhile, El-P has made the media rounds and got married. In 2020, the two will likely release the fourth album in the Run The Jewels discography.
