
Ed Sheeran has scored his fourth number one album with =. Sheeran’s latest work reportedly moved 118,000 units during its first week. Billboard reports that songs from his album were streamed upwards of 60 million times, accounting for 47,000 sales.
Following closely behind, Drake’s Certified Lover Boy earned the second spot with 67,000 sales. In third, Morgan Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album finished the week with 42,000 album sales. Doja Cat’s Planet Her came in fourth with 40,000 album sales and Megan Thee Stallion rounded out the top five by releasing Something for the Hotties.
Heading into next week, Summer Walker is expected to top the charts with Still Over It. Early projections suggest that the project will move upwards of 200,000 units in week one. Other projects expected to enter the charts are Terrace Martin’s Drones and Aminé’s TWOPOINTFIVE. Meanwhile, Post Malone and The Weeknd’s “One Right Now” and “Smokin’ Out The Window” by Silk Sonic will enter the Billboard Hot 100.
