It’s that time of the year again, the 2018 EBONY Power 100 list has finally arrived.
Broken down into several categories such as “Community Crusaders,” “Disruptors,” “MVPS,” and “Innovators,” the EBONY Power 100 list honors 100 powerful, game-changing individuals within the black community. Some of the top names in music appear on the Power 100 list including, Cardi B, Drake, and Travis Scott, who are all placed in the “Arts and Entertainment” category. Motown Records president Ethiopia Habtemariam and 300 Entertainment CEO Kevin Liles are also featured on the list.
Other selected honorees include Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, tennis champion Venus Williams, Louis Vuitton men’s artistic director Virgil Abloh, Actress Yara Shahidi, and the film Black Panther.
The 2018 EBONY Power 100 gala is set to take place on November 30 at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. The list in its entirety can be viewed here. Congratulations to all of the honorees!
