Earl “E-40” Stevens has embarked on his latest business venture. The Bay Area native has reportedly partnered with Southern Glazer’s to distribute his latest adult beverage, Tycoon Vodka. According to a report from Joshua Espinoza of Complex, the vodka will include “15 different still and sparkling wines; a golden lager beer, E. Cuarenta Cerveza; E. Cuarenta Tequila; Tycoon Cognac; Kuiper Belt Bourbon; Kuiper Belt Gin; as well as a range of pre-mixed cocktails.”
This is far from the first time that E-40 has ventured into the food and beverage industry. Last year, he introduced blueberry and orange slice flavored beverages to his line of sparkling wines. In addition, he has partnered with Justin Kinder of Kinder’s Meats, Deli and BBQ to launch the Goon with the Spoon gourmet meat brand.
“[I] fulfilled a lifelong dream today with the formal launch of my Goon With The Spoon brand and inaugural sausage line. We’re in production and about take over the food industry now,” he wrote on Instagram.
E-40 is not only diving deeper into his business endeavors, but he is also expanding his philanthropic reach. Recently, he donated $100,000 to Grambling State University.
“I just wanted to make a contribution to my school, Grambling State University, so I talked to the Doc (GSU Band Director Dr. Nikole Roebuck) and she said, ‘Let’s see what we can do,’ and this was what I came up with,” he said.
“I feel good about it, too. I feel really good. God is great.”
