With the Rockets deciding not to match their rivals Dallas on signing Chandler Parsons there are mixed feelings all over the state of Texas.
But one significant feeling in the Houston camp is Dwight Howard and according to ESPN.com he isn’t phased by Parsons going to Dallas.
It won’t affect us at all.
We have myself and James.
We have the best center and the best two guard in the game on the same team. It’s on us.
That maybe so but the fact teams around them are getting work done and they have done close to nothing compared to teams, it’s quite disheartening. But I’ll give Houston this. The signing of Trevor Ariza was a great pickup and Howard has the same confidence in Ariza as he does Harden. They did play together in Orlando after all.
Just to have soldiers on your team like that is great. We have that one-two punch with me and James. We’re filling out our roster with guys who are willing to go through that wall and doing whatever it takes to win.
At this point they have filled the void left by Parsons with Trevor which is good. But there’s something missing with Houston and it’s up to them to find out.
