Whether you hate him or love him, Drizzy Drake Rogers has come clutch once again. The Toronto rapper and global icon was first linked to the popular UK TV Series ‘Top Boy’ when him and UK Grime artist Skepta promoted the show last year in efforts to bring another season. Now, Drake has successful partnered with Netflix and the writers for ‘Top Boy’ to bring its 3rd season in 2019.

The Hollywood Reporter broke down what the 3rd season holds for the Dushane and his crew of gang members in South London:

“The third season picks up as Dushane (original star Ashley Walters) returns from exile to his home in London to reclaim his throne in the highly lucrative drug market. He teams with Sully (Kane “Kano” Robinson), his spiritual brother, partner, and sometime rival who is also returning to the same streets after his own form of exile — prison — comes to an end. Awaiting them both is Jamie, the young, hungry and ruthless gang leader whose ambitions leave no place for Dushane and Sully.”

The Channel 4 British television series became a sensation in the hip hop community for its very real imagery of the life that comes with gangs, drugs and violence. If you haven’t watched the show and are a fan of shows like ‘The Wire’, ‘Tales’ or ‘Power’, you’ll want to watch this. Although 2019 isn’t exactly ‘around the corner’, Drake took to Instagram to give us the hype ‘Top Boy’ fans deserved:
