Nicki Minaj isn’t the only Young Money superstar preparing to release a new album. Recently, Drake and 21 Savage brought the It’s All A Blur Tour to Detroit, Michigan. While on stage, Drake talked about his forthcoming album — For All The Dogs. In doing so, he revealed that his next album will feature his Young Money classmate, Nicki Minaj.
“I’m going to give away one thing off the album in Detroit tonight because I’ve got a lot of love for Detroit,” he told the crowd.
“So, I’m going to have to tell you. Nicki Minaj [and I] did our first song in a really long time. I’ve got a lot of love for her.”
This is far from the first time that the two artists have worked side by side. Throughout the years, they’ve come together to deliver hits like “Up All Night” and “Moment For Life.” However, Nicki Minaj’s vocals haven’t appeared on a Drake album since 2018’s Scorpion. Furthermore, Nicki Minaj hasn’t delivered a verse on a Drake album since 2011. With that said, the two appeared on “Seeing Green” and the re-release of “Best I Ever Had” in 2021.
As for Drake’s next album, it’s unclear when it will arrive and if the rumored title of For All The Dogs will end up being the final title. In the meantime, he’ll continue touring the country with 21 Savage. Next up, the duo will take the stage in Boston, Massachusetts on July 11-12, 2023.
