Moore was entering the fifth-year option of his rookie deal and the Panthers wanted to secure their leader in receiving yards for the last three seasons.
Selected in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, he has been one of the most productive players, along with running back Christian McCaffrey in the Panthers roster. In his four-year career, he has totaled 4313 receiving yards in 301 receptions and 14 touchdowns.
Moore is already fourth all-time in receiving yards in franchise history.
After a disappointing five wins season for the third straight year, the Panthers will look to improve and fight for a postseason spot.
