From movie releases to television premieres, the COVID-19 pandemic has shifted everything in the world of entertainment. Most recently, Disney+ moved to push up the release of Hamilton on the streaming platform. Just two weeks ahead of the release, Disney+ has released the film’s trailer.
“Experience the original Broadway Production of Hamilton, streaming exclusively on Disney+ on July 3,” the studio writes.
“Hamilton is the story of America then, told by America now. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, Hamilton has taken the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and created a revolutionary moment in theatre—a musical that has had a profound impact on culture, politics, and education,” Walt Disney Studios adds.
