An unlikely duo to say the least, Zac Efron and Robert De Niro look to kick off 2016 in this sex comedy movie, ‘Dirty Grandpa’. Set to hit theaters this January 22, 2016, Efron plays a lawyer by the name of Jason Kelly and De Niro plays his grandfather, named Dick.
In the first official trailer for ‘Dirty Grandpa’, which I must say is filled with a lot of sexual jokes especially from the ‘Dirty Grandpa’ himself Robert De Niro, we learn a lot about the general synopsis for the movie.
The film follows Jason Kelly and Dick as they embark on a road trip that is supposed to be a moment of clarity for the two. For Jason (Efron), his Grandpa (De Niro) is on a mission to show him to live his life to fullest and that marriage, especially the woman he plans on marrying is not for him. Marrying your bosses daughter is never an ideal situation but if you want to move up in a law firm like Jason does that may be a necessary step.
Now for De Niro as you learn in the trailer he’s dealing with the loss of his wife who apparently on her death bed instructed him to get back out there and enjoy the last few years of his life. With that being said, Dick and Jason head down to Daytona for Spring Break which is filled with parties, college girls, bar fights and well sex. Looking to live like he is still young Dick is trying to get his uptight grandson to bond with him in ways the two have never bonded before.
