Denzel Curry has released some new music to follow-up on his latest joint project with Kenny Beats. This time around, the Florida native delivered “Live From The Abyss” produced by FnZ. Never one to shy away from topics of importance, Curry offers his thoughts on police brutality, immigration policy, the President and much more.
“I walk around with confidence, plottin’ on accomplishments/Plannin’ somethin’ radical in the cut, so anonymous/I don’t f*ck with my president, tried to block all Mexicans,” he raps.
“If he hears this message, please, don’t send SWAT to my residence/The police keep on killin’ us, hands up then they start to shoot/Bad enough I’m scared of them, and afraid of my n*ggas too,” he adds.
Curry’s new track is exclusively available on Bandcamp. For the new track, he teamed up with the Dream Defenders, an organization aimed at empowering Black and Brown youth in America.
“We are advancing our vision of safety and security – away from prisons, deportation, and war – and towards healthcare, housing, jobs and movement for all,” the organization writes.
All proceeds from “Live From The Abyss” will be donated to the organization. Check out the Bandcamp exclusive below.
