There’s nothing quite as annoying as an unwarranted or unannounced call. However, we all make exceptions for those we truly want to hear from. For some, it can be a best friend. For others, it may be a significant other. In the case of Deante’ Hitchcock, he’s always going to pick up for that woman who’s not technically his girl, but he’s kind of feeling. Following the release of his Valentine’s Day EP, the Atlanta native has returned with a new track called “Drunk AF.”
“You know, I don’t pick up for no Facetime. But if it’s for you, then I’m going to make time,” he sings.
“We’ve been f*ckin’ around. I mean it’s lowkey. Whenever she hits me, she says, ‘Come and get me.’ I’m on the way.”
“Drunk AF” is the perfect melodic follow-up to his January release, “U Were Right, I Was Wrong.” Utilizing auto-tune, a more melodic flow and similar artwork, it looks like the Atlanta native may be setting the stage for a new EP or album. Who knows? For now, check out “Drunk AF” below.
