At this point in free agency the Dallas Mavericks don’t have many options to turn to for good players to help contend for a championship, and that’s in large part due to DeAndre Jordan making a last-minute decision to go back to Los Angeles.
Well DeAndre Jordan wants to let Mark Cuban and the Dallas Mavericks know he’s sorry.
I want to publicly apologize to one of the best owners in the world @MCuban, the @DallasMavs and their fans.

I am humbled by @DallasMavs & @MCuban kindness and understanding. I am sorry to have a change of heart.

Jordan clearly made a mistake and knows it doesn’t look good on his behalf, but the decision costed this Mavericks team a shot at a title and possibly their season with the only big signings coming from Wesley Matthews and possibly the often injured Deron Williams.
With DeAndre Jordan’s apology it slightly improves his image in Mavericks fans eyes, but Jordan may have made the right choice for his career by going back to the Clippers.
The Clippers have something special brewing with Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan, and Blake Griffin along with the addition of Paul Pierce.
Surprisingly the Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has said all of the right things and must understand to some extent DeAndre’s Jordan to return to Los Angeles, but he must get creative now for this team to compete for a championship.
