If there’s any word to describe Dave East, it is “resilient.” 2020 has been rough for many, but the Harlem native has been hit particularly hard this year. To begin the year, he mourned the loss of fellow New York star Pop Smoke. Not long afterwards, he lost his close personal friend and fellow artist, Kiing Shooter. Still, he has managed to move forward and release a new project new music this summer.
Over the last few months, few artists have been more active than him. The New York artist has stayed busy by dropping the “Believe It Or Not” video and an “I Got 5 On It” freestyle. Not to mention, he released the “My Loc” tribute for Kiing Shooter. He also appeared on The Bootleg Kev Show and Hot 103.9 FM in Philadelphia. HNow, he’s set to release the third installment in the Karma series.
Karma 3 is here and it is full of guest appearances. With fifteen tracks, the project features Popcaan, Mary J. Blige, Trey Songz, Young Dolph, Benny The Butcher and many others. Check out the full project above.
