Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges, Milton “Lil Rel” Howery Jr. and Teyona Parris have been cast as the leads of Will Packer and Tim Story’s upcoming Disney+ holiday picture, Dashing Through The Snow. Deadline reports that the film has already begun production in Atlanta, Georgia with a late 2023 release date in mind.
“Dashing Through the Snow tells the story of a divorced social worker for the Atlanta police department who despises Christmas due to a painful childhood memory. When sent on a call while spending Christmas Eve with his daughter, he inadvertently evokes the wrath of a local politician but meets a man who helps him understand the joy and magic of Christmas,” the film’s description reads.
Ludacris boards Dashing Through The Snow while also working on Fast X. The Atlanta native is also set to appear in End of the Road. As for Howery Jr., he is set to appear in a number of films, including Black Stallions with Don Cheadle, The Come Up with Jermaine Fowler and The Out-Laws. Meanwhile, Paris sets the stage for her roles in They Cloned Tyrone and The Marvels.
The team behind Dashing Through The Snow is just as busy as the cast. Tim Story is currently attached to Ride Along III, The Blackening, Monopoly and My Own Worst Enemy. Will Packer is also promoting Beast and getting ready for TV series like Nine Years Under, Think Like A Man and Central Ave.
