Danny Brown has released a new track called “Dirty Laundry” produced by Q Tip. The new track serves as the first sample of his upcoming album, uknowwhatimsayin¿, which is also executive produced by Q-Tip.
Danny Brown raps, “The Hybrid/I’m telling you, try again, sleep with the beast/Then you in the lions den,?still?drop dirty/Have to?pop a Niacin itched all damn?day, just to get violated.”
He ends the record by rapping, “Mop the floor when I leave/Might slip if you do/Cover your ears of your kids, we got round two/F*ck a b*tch two times call it deja vu.”
Danny Brown’s next body of work will be released about one month from today. During a recent interview with Hot 97, Q-Tip spoke about the album and his involvement.
He told the New York station, “This is his album. I can’t take no credit. I’m just an actor in his movie.”
He added, “Which was so much less stressful for me, working on albums and stuff. A lot of sleepless nights working on songs and stuff. Now, I ain’t have to worry about it. I had just had to show up and rap which made it back fun for me again.”
In addition to dropping a new album with Q-Tip, he has also announced a tour. Joined by Zelooperz and Ashnikko, Danny Brown will begin his tour in Atlanta at Afropunk next month. From there, the trio will make stops in Chicago, Seattle, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Baltimore and many more cities.
