Portland Trailblazers point guard Damian Lillard will perform during the 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend Saturday night events. In addition to performing, Lillard will also participate in the 2020 NBA 3-Point Contest and the 2020 NBA All-Star Game.
The news was first reported by The Athletic’s Shams Charania, who tweeted, “Unique wrinkle for NBA All-Star Weekend: Portland’s Damian Lillard will perform musically during Saturday night events in Chicago.”
“Dame D.O.L.L.A. on the mic, All-Star Saturday night,” he added.
“I’ve been chosen as a basketball all-star and have an opportunity to possibly be on the stage,” the 2020 NBA All-Star said.

“It’s a great honor,” Lillard continued.
Just a day after he takes the stage in Chicago, Chance The Rapper will performing during halftime of the 2020 NBA All-Star Game. Last year, J. Cole performed in his home state of North Carolina during the 2019 NBA All-Star Game.
The NBA’s All-Star Weekend festivities will take place from February 14th through February 16th in Chicago, Illinois at the United Center.
