Over his nearly three decade run in entertainment, Dame Dash has never been one to shy away from confrontation. Dame Dash has had disputes with the likes of Jay-Z, Jim Jones, Funkmaster Flex and more. Today, Dame Dash entered into another feud, but his adversary is a bit different in this situation. In this instance, Dash is locking horns with Hollywood titan, Lee Daniels.
The Dash-Daniels dispute goes back to 2014 when Dash sued Daniels over a two million dollar loan that was never repaid. In 2015, the two reportedly reached a settlement over the dispute. However, it appears that things have not smoothed over between the two entertainment moguls. According to TMZ, Dash is suing Daniels again for millions of dollars. The new alleged legal dispute stems from an agreement made between the two involving the upcoming Richard Pryor biopic. Daniels and Dash appear to have made an agreement that Dash would executive produce the biopic and receive 5% of the back end payments from the original dispute. Unfortunately, it appears that the deal has fallen through and Dash is seeking to sue Daniels again.

Making matters worse, Daniels and Dash were recorded having a conversation at the Hollywood Bowl during a Diana Ross concert. Dash appears to have told Daniels, “I need to know. What are we doing about this? We’re about to issue another lawsuit and we’re going public about it. As a black man, I gave you the money that you needed, so how can you not give me money? How? That’s two million dollars. That’s working capital. You told me you were going to give me money in a month.” While Daniels appears to remain to calm, it is clear that Dash is heated and he’s not going to let this issue go until he gets his money.
