Craig Sager is continuing his battle against cancer and it appears for the third time in three years he’ll be undergoing a rare procedure. The legendary NBA on TNT sideline reporter has found another way to continue his fight.
As Craig battles Leukemia and continues to get the support of many people all over, his condition varies from time to time. He was able to work the NBA Finals but for the first time in his career, he couldn’t work the Olympic games. He was skipping the Olympics as he was awaiting another treatment and the time has arrived. Sager will be getting his third bone marrow/stem cell transplant in three years, an unprecedented event.
Craig Sager Jr shared the news of his dad’s upcoming treatment on twitter.
Thanks to an anonymous donor, tmrw my Dad will enter an unimaginable milestone w/ his 3rd bone marrow/stem cell transplant in a 3year span??

Hopefully this treatment will be the last for Sager and he’ll win his battle. He has battled through so much recently and all we want to see is more of him on the sidelines. His family has been by his side through the whole ordeal and he’s praised them on a number of occasions. Hopefully this time, the treatment will prove to be Sager’s biggest victory to date. Always remember to support the #SagerStrong movement.
