The COVID-19 pandemic has slowed down much of the music industry, but it has allowed others to showcase their work ethic through steady releases. Childish Major is one of those artists. To kick off the year, he released a trio of records including “Dem Know,” “Shallow Dimes” and “Wife You.” Now, he’s back with something a little different.
Childish Major has linked up with Jace for a new record called “Kick It.” Knocking with heavy bass, the Atlanta native trades bars with Jace.
“Let me explain what I did. Can I kick it? Hold on. Yeah, I blew the brains, but I asked can I kick it? Don’t ask me a thing. How I got her or how I did it? Took a half straight to the brain, can I kick it?” the duo raps.
For years, he has made his name by producing for the likes of J. Cole, Jeezy, 6LACK and many others. Now, he’s continuing his career as an artist. “Kick It” is the type of track you listen to during a workout or even while playing NBA 2K or Madden.
