Cashma is set to return with a smooth, soulful track to cap off the summer season. Recently, the Georgia native took to Instagram to announce that her promising single, “Tube Top, Buns Out,” will be released on August 11, 2022.
“I know I’ve been talking about this record for the longest. We finally have a date,” she wrote on Instagram.
“This tune is very special to me. Please wait for it.”
“Tube Top, Buns Out” follows the release of her latest project, Purple Apartment. The soothing, refreshing 12-track project concluded a three-part series that was led by 2020’s Purple Mosquito and 2021’s Purple Lights.
“I’m very introverted so having my own space has always been really important to me. My home is my world. It’s where I party, relax, feel safe, laugh, cry, cook, enjoy my friends, do business and overall where I’ve built my brand,” Cashma told Guitar Girl Mag about her latest project.
“I wanted this project to feel the way I do when I’m in my space, a getaway from the noises of the world. A little piece of heaven.”
While Purple Apartment is only four months old, Cashma may be preparing to release another body of work in the near future. Shortly after announcing her upcoming single and releasing “Love Don’t Cost,” she shared a cryptic message via Instagram.
“I’ve got another big announcement later this month. Stay tuned,” she wrote.
Cashma could be alluding to a new project, a special collaboration, a tour or something non-music related. While we wait to see what she has in store, check out the “Tube Top, Buns Out” preview below.
