Carmelo Anthony is officially signing with the Houston Rockets, the team announced Monday.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Anthony’s contract covers one year and is worth $2.4 million:

Before signing the contract, Anthony traveled to Houston and finished his physical Monday, according to Wojanrowski.

On July 23, Marc Stein of the New York Times reported Anthony’s intention to sign with the Rockets on a one-year deal at the veteran’s minimum.
Anthony became a free agent following his buyout from Atlanta soon after the Hawks acquired him from the Oklahoma City Thunder in a trade involving Dennis Schröder.
