
Former ESPN anchor Cari Champion has found a new home at Turner Sports. The former SportsCenter anchor will host The Arena beginning July 20, 20 at 8 p.m. The storytelling franchise will explore topics of conversation on and off the court including the changing landscape of the NBA, the Black Lives Matter movement and much more.
“The cinematic features will examine the COVID-19 pandemic, Black Lives Matter, systemic racial injustices and the changing landscape of society since the NBA postponed play through the point of view of players, NBA teams, their fans and communities,” Turner Sports writes.

Along the way, Champion will be joined by current and former NBA stars such as Draymond Green, Dwyane Wade and Charles Barkley. She will also sit down with celebrity guests such as Jemele Hill and Killer Mike.
Running from July 20 until July 24, the limited series will kick off with five one-hour segments. The series will then continue throughout the remainder of the NBA regular season and playoffs.
