It may hard to believe, but we’re nearing the three-year anniversary of Invasion of Privacy. Since then, Cardi B has stayed active up dropping “Yes!” with Fat Joe, “Please Me” with Bruno Mars, “W.A.P” with Megan Thee Stallion and a few other high production efforts. However, she has mainly stayed away from releasing large quantities of music over the last few years. Some reports suggest that her absence may be due to contract negotiations and other reports suggest that she is shifting her energy towards acting. Either way, Cardi B’s voice is missed within the world of music. This Friday, she made a welcomed return with “Up.”
“Up” is believed to be a single from her untitled sophomore album. When will the album arrive? That part is still unclear. The New York native is gearing up for the release of F9 and she has just landed a leading role in a major motion picture.
