It appears that McDonald’s has found the perfect couple to lead its Super Bowl LVII ad campaign. According to TMZ, Cardi B and Offset spent the holiday season shooting a Valentine’s Day-themed ad for the fast food chain. Set to debut on February 12 during the big game, it is unclear what the specifics of the ad will be, but it will be “huge” in scale.
Cardi B is no stranger to appearing on the small screen during the biggest day in U.S. advertising. In 2019, she starred in Pepsi’s “Okurrr” commercial as the New England Patriots beat the Los Angeles Rams to win Super Bowl LIII. The couple also appeared together at Super Bowl LI in Houston, Texas as the Patriots beat Offset’s hometown Atlanta Falcons.
Cardi B and Offset are not only set to appear in a Super Bowl ad, but the two are also expected to deliver new projects in 2023. Both artists released new singles in 2022, but both have moved back from the spotlight following the untimely death of Takeoff. At this time, it is unclear when either artist will set a release date for their sophomore albums.
