Jeff Bauman, survivor of the Boston Marathon bombing is taking his story to the big screen.
Bauman lost both legs at the 2013 tragedy while waiting for his girlfriend at the finish line, after two bombs exploded. Three people died while over 260 more were seriously injured.
His book Stronger, will be adapted into a film by John Pollono, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The project has yet to hire a director or cast, but producers Todd Lieberman, David Homberman and Scott Silver are attached to the film.
Bauman is said to have helped identify one of the bombers from his hospital bed. .
