Bobby Shmurda is excited about the future of his music career after cutting ties with the global record imprint Epic Records. The Brooklyn native celebrated his departure from the record label earlier this week and shared the news via Instagram.
“I just [signed] my release papers. Also, [I just] made [$1 million] today,” Shmurda wrote on Instagram.
At this time, it’s unclear what Bobby Shmurda will do next, but it does appear that he is leaning toward becoming an independent act.
“I can’t wait to drop [my album],” he wrote.
“I’m shooting my first [independent] video today [for a song] called “Getting ‘Em Back.”
