Black Mirror continues surprising us. We’ve known the fifth season was coming for a few months but had no idea when. Well, today, Netflix dropped a trailer for the fifth season of the dark sci-fi anthology series, revealing the series’ return date. Black Mirror season five is set to hit Netflix on June 5th.
There’s a lot going on in the trailer but the main take away I got from it is that we’re set to get more of the cautionary tales for which the series has become known. It also seems like the series is still able to draw top talent as Anthony Mackie, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Topher Grace, and even Miley Cyrus make an appearance during the trailer. (It was reported last year that Miley Cyrus would make an appearance in the fifth season but I must’ve missed that because I was SHOCKED when she appeared in the trailer.)
There’s no real way to tell which clips come from which episodes but the trailer promises the new season will change the way we think about the world around us. Check it out for yourself below:
