The Buffalo Bills will have a new coach heading into the 2017 season. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Ryan has been ousted as the head coach.
Bills announced Rex and Rob Ryan relieved of their duties.

Rex wasn’t the only Ryan to be fired in Buffalo as his brother Rob was also fired. Rob Ryan was the team’s defensive coordinator. Rex Ryan had 6 straight seasons of non-winning seasons which ultimately led to his demise.
Moving forward the Bills have named Anthony Lynn the interim head coach. Of course, that seems like an odd move considering he started the season as the team’s running back coach. Lynn filled in for former offensive coordinator Greg Roman when he was fired earlier in the season.
The Bills have also benched starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor heading into the season finale. E.J. Manuel will get the start. This move is merely a precaution since Taylor’s hefty contract becomes fully guaranteed if he is injured.
Some of the candidates on the Bills radar could be similar to those I discussed with the Rams head coach opening. It seems unlikely the Bills will stick with another defensive minded head coach. G.M. Doug Whaley will lead the search for a new head coach.
