HBO Max has been coming hard with the release of The Little Things, Judas and the Black Messiah and Wonder Woman 1984. Netflix is not going out without a fight. This month, the streaming platform has delivered Malcolm & Marie and announced the return of Last Chance U. Netflix is keeping the hits coming with the release of the Biggie I Got A Story To Tell trailer.
“Every legend has an origin story. Christopher Wallace, AKA The Notorious B.I.G., remains one of Hip-Hop’s icons, renowned for his distinctive flow and autobiographical lyrics. This documentary celebrates his life via rare behind-the-scenes footage and the testimonies of his closest friends and family,” Netflix writes.
Biggie: I Got A Story To Tell is not simply a compilation of archival footage. The documentary features a series of interviews from Sean “Diddy” Combs, Violetta Wallace and several others.
“This will be the first documentary to focus on the experiences of my son’s life rather than the circumstances of his death. It is a celebration of who he was and where he came from. This is how he would have wanted to be remembered,” Violetta Wallace told Netflix.
The trailer is available below and the documentary will debut March 1.
