The queen is in the building! Beyoncé shook up social media on Wednesday afternoon as she shared the track list for her highly-anticipated project, Renaissance. As expected, the project includes the previously released single, “Break My Soul.” Renaissance will also feature interestingly titled tracks such as “Alien Superstar,” “Church Girl” and “America Has A Problem.”
In addition to sharing the track list with her fan base, the global star shared a brief message via Instagram. Through her writing, the Grammy winner explained that her forthcoming project was designed to make listeners feel “unique, strong, and sexy.”
“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment,” Beyoncé wrote.
“A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.”
Renaissance is set to arrive next Friday. For now, the track list will have to hold us over.
