Better Things is set to kick off its final season during the first quarter of the new year. Variety has reported that the show’s fifth installment will debut February 28, 2022 on FX. The first two episodes of the final season will air on February 28 and one episode will air in each of the following weeks.
Created by Pamela Adlon and Louis C.K., the series follows the story of a divorced actress who raises three daughters on her own. Variety reports that key cast members Mikey Madison, Hannah Riley, Olivia Edward and Celia Imrie will return for a new season. Adding on, Lena Waithe, Danny Trejo, Marty Krofft and Clive Russell will make guest appearances.
Through its first four seasons, Better Things has been well received. The show has earned nominations at the Golden Globe Awards, Primetime Emmy Awards and the TCA Awards. Also, the show has been honored at the Critics’ Choice Television Awards and the Peabody Awards.
