At 19 years old, Bandmanrill has emerged one of the fastest rising stars in music. Hailing from the Garden State, the multifaceted talent has managed to gain co-signs from around the tri-state area. His Jersey Club-influenced sound stands out within today’s rap scene and allows him to create a unique lane for his music. This week, he took the next step forward in his career with the release of the “Lurkin” music video.
“Lurkin” sets the tone for Bandmanrill’s summer movement. Produced by Mcvertt, Drew Bandz and Mike Checks, the track has a more traditional trap sound with an addictive violin sample. Still, the New Jersey native includes an upbeat club riff that adds a bit of special sauce to the hit record.
“Oh, he a goon. Lurkin! N*gga be broke, hurtin. Get off your a** and put that work in,” he raps.
“She’s throwin’ a**, twerking. I get behind her and smack it. She’s smirking.”
