The debut of Bad Boys: Ride or Die is not only a chance to see Will Smith and Martin Lawrence on the big screen, but it’s also a chance to get another great soundtrack.
Just weeks before life in the United States and around the world shut down due to the spread of COVID-19, Bad Boys For Life hit the big screen. In addition to receiving positive reviews, it also spawned a a standout soundtrack. From tracks like “Future Bright” by Rick Ross and Bryson Tiller to “Money Fight” by the City Girls, the 10-track LP featured some of the star power and quality records reminiscent of soundtracks from yesteryear. This time around, the Bad Boys: Ride or Die soundtracks aims to take things to the next level.
Not only is Smith leading the action on the screen, but he’s also leading the way on the soundtrack. The Hollywood star raps alongside Sean Paul on “Light ‘Em Up.” The project also includes contributions from BIA, JID, Becky G, Flo Milli, ScarLip, Shenseea, Myke Towers, the Black Eyed Peas and many others. During a weekend filled with highly-anticipated releases from Kaytranada and Tems, but the Bad Boys For Life soundtrack is worth a spin as you head to the theater and grab your popcorn.
