Assault charges against Bronx rapper Remy Ma regarding an alleged violent incident with Love And Hip-Hop co-star Brittney Taylor have reportedly been dropped.
Initially, Remy Ma turned herself in on assault charges to New York City police following claims from Taylor that she was punched in the face by Remy Ma. Although Brittney Taylor remained persistent, in her allegations, Remy Ma claims to have video footage proving her innocence. Still, the Conceited rapper faced four charges related to the incident.
Remy Ma faced two counts of assault in the third degree, one count of aggravated harassment in the second degree and one count of harassment in the second degree, all from the allegations of Brittney Taylor. In good news for Remy Ma, all charges have been dropped. According to TMZ, a judge dropped all four charges due to lack of proof.

“Unfortunately, these manufactured allegations caused my client to suffer the indignities of having to wear an ankle monitor while having her freedom limited by travel restrictions and an 8:00 PM curfew.” says Dawn Florio, Remy Ma’s attorney according to TMZ.
“These restrictions have hurt my client’s ability to perform, causing hundreds of thousands of dollars of lost income. District Attorney Vance’s office should be commended for its exercise of sound judgment in agreeing to dismiss these unwarranted charges.” continues Florio.
Remy Ma celebrated her dropped charges on Instagram, sharing a metallic pink “Case Dismissed” makeup look advertising products form beauty brand Juvia’s Place.
