A$AP Rocky has confirmed his first live performance since being released from a Swedish prison. According to a report from Brooklyn Vegan, the Harlem rapper will return to the stage this weekend for Real Street in Anaheim at the Honda Center.
Hosted by Real 92.3, the festival is described as an “immersive hip-hop lifestyle event”. Rocky will perform alongside Cardi B, Migos, Future, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Meek Mill and many more top acts.
Honda Center President & CEO Tim Ryan said, “We are thrilled that A$AP Rocky is confirmed to perform at Real Street! The event is going to be one huge party, and we can’t wait for him to receive a massive welcome from his fans that night.”
Doc Wynter of iHeart Media added, “We can’t wait to hear the crowd erupt for Rocky this Sunday night at The Honda Center Festival Grounds!”
Since returning home, A$AP Rocky has made the rounds around California. Most recently, he was spotted at Kanye West’s “Sunday Service.” Previously, West publicly advocated for Rocky’s release to Donald Trump.
There is no word on when or if A$AP Rocky will also be joined other A$AP Mob members.
In addition to Rocky, Meek Mill will also take the stage to offer his first performance since being granted a new trial. The Philadelphia rapper also announced a joint venture with Jay-Z shortly thereafter.
Simply put, there will be a lot to celebrate at Real 92.3’s Real Street festival August 10-11.
