Zack Snyder has been boked and busy this summer. First, he rolled out the long-awaited Justice League redo. Then, he followed it up by dropping an original film called Army of the Dead starring Dave Bautista and Omari Hardwick. Now, he’s pivoting to another Netflix project called Army of Thieves.
“In this prequel to Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead, small-town bank teller Dieter gets drawn into the adventure of a lifetime when a mysterious woman recruits him to join a crew of Interpol’s most wanted criminals, attempting to heist a sequence of legendary, impossible-to-crack safes across Europe,” the film’s description reads.
The film is led by a cast that includes Matthias Schweighöfer, Ruby O. Free, Noémie Nakai and Nathalie Emmanuel. Stuart Martin, Jonathan Cohen and Guz Khan will also appear in the film.
