As quiet as it has been kept, Dreamville has had a great 2018 campaign. The year kicked off with a new project and tour from California’s own Cozz. Not long after, the CEO, J. Cole, dropped off a new project and announced a follow-up to come in 2019. This summer, we learned of the first ever Dreamville festival and received a brand new project from Bas. More recently, J.I.D announced the release of his next project later this month. Along the way, the first lady of Dreamville, Ari Lennox, has been there to offer her talents.
The Washington, D.C. native has dropped off a new single called “Whipped Cream” that was well received. In addition, she made her presence felt on the new project from Bas. Tonight, she’s continuing to make her voice heard with the release of two new songs. Lennox let fans know of her music on Wednesday afternoon with a surprise tweet that read, “I’m dropping two new songs this Friday.” Her fellow Dreamvillain, J.I.D., immediately responded with a tweet of approval that read, “Let’s go.” After taking a few days to roll out her new music, it’s finally here. Check out two new songs from the first lady of J. Cole’s label and let us know what you think. Are you ready for a new project from Ari Lennox.
