Ant-Man is calling for a little help in a new trailer released today.
Paul Rudd stars as Ant-Man – aka Scott Lang- in the new film. In the new clip, he states: “I think our first move…should be calling The Avengers!”
In the trailer, Dr Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) tells Scott of the suit he created 40 years ago before his assistant stole the tech.
Hank expands on his description of his research, saying it’s beyond the technology used by Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) for the Iron Man suit – linking the new Marvel film with ones that have preceded it.
Meanwhile, a viral video featuring newscaster Christine Everhart (Leslie Bibb) has further tied Ant-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The clip features a report on the destruction seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron followed by one on the release of petty thief Lang from prison.
Ant-Man hits theaters July 17.
