The COVID-19 pandemic ravaged the film industry last year and pushed a number of highly anticipated films back one year or even two. Thankfully, COVID-19 related deaths and hospitalizations are slowly decreasing. As a result, this has opened up the ability for moviegoers to cautiously return to the theaters. This also opens up the door for several of the films that were postponed to finally be released. Within the last few weeks, movies like Spiral: From The Book of Saw and Black Widow have earned official release dates after being pushed back last year. Joining the list of fulfilled rescheduled releases, it appears that A Quiet Place II will finally hit theaters. In preparation for its upcoming release, Paramount Pictures has rolled out the film’s final trailer.
“Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path,” Paramount Pictures writes.
Jon Krasinski, Emily Blunt and Cillian Murphy are set to return for the highly anticipated sequel. A Quiet Place II will hit theaters on May 28, which means you should check out the trailer below and catch up on what you may be missing,
