New York’s A Boogie ended 2018 with a number one album that far exceeded the commercial expectations of many. In the following months, he toured and enjoyed the success that comes with having a number one album. He also dropped a loose track called “Mood Swings” produced by Wheezy. Now, it appears that he’s back in album mode with “King of My City.”
“I’m from the Bronx, not Benny/I swear I don’t even know why I did it/AP cost a hunnid and fifty/I be feeling like I’m drowning with it,” he raps.
“My n*gga you don’t wanna play with my city/N*ggas die everyday in my city/Whole lotta young, wild n*ggas/I be feeling like the king of my city/And every n*gga with me wearing Amiri,” he adds.
This track is rumored to be on his long awaited project, Artist 2.0. While we wait for more information, listen to A Boogie’s “King of My City” above.
