The biggest evening in all of Hollywood is still more than a month away. Still, it’s the hottest topic of conversation on a sunny Thursday morning in January. Earlier today, Bowen Yang and Rachel Sennott unveiled the slate of nominees set to be recognized at the 97th Academy Awards. As the nominees were unveiled upon the large screen at the front of the auditorium, critics, creatives and fans alike were anxiously awaiting the slate of thespians nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role at the 2025 Oscars.
